$3000+ Giving to the Garden. The Dallas Arboretum also offers very unique ways to honor or memorialize a loved one or a friend. You may chose to endow a beautiful tree or one of our garden benches in honor or memory of this person. A tree plaque or brass bench plaque will recognize the person honored. The cost of this type of honorarium/memorial begins at $3,000 depending on the size and location of the selected tree or location of the selected bench. You may chose to give a tribute in any amount in honor of a special occasion, such as a wedding, anniversary, birthday or other occasion. You may wish to give a gift in any amount as an expression of sympathy. The honoree will be entered into our register of memorials or honors, and both the recipient and donor will be acknowledged.
